Jimmy Lai, the outspoken publisher of Hong Kong’s well known pro-democracy newspaper Apple Everyday, was arrested on suspicion of foreign collusion less than a new countrywide-security legislation, widening Beijing’s crackdown on the former British colony.
Police arrested Mr. Lai at his property Monday early morning and educated him he confronted countrywide-security fees, according to Mark Simon, an govt at his company.
