The large flood in the Dhauli Ganga river induced by a glacial burst in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district on Sunday arrived as a grim reminder of the Kedarnath deluge of 2013 which led to popular devastation in the ecologically fragile Himalayan location.
A devastating organic catastrophe in the kind of torrential rains of unseen magnitude had struck Kedarnath on sixteen-seventeen June in 2013.
The banks of the Chorabari lake in Kedarnath collapsed thanks to a cloudburst that had resulted in a big flash flood leading to popular destruction in Uttarakhand and led to large losses to infrastructure, agriculture lands, human and animal life.

About one hundred fifty labourers operating at a power challenge in Tapovan-Reni are feared useless, an Indo-Tibetan Border Law enforcement spokesperson claimed when quoting the challenge-in demand. Three bodies have been recovered so far.
