GB Information will try to shake up the broadcasting landscape when the information community launches its Television channel in early June.
The information services, spearheaded by veteran broadcaster Andrew Neil, has introduced ideas to go dwell on Sunday June 13.
In a tweet, the channel explained it would launch at 8pm with a particular programme, ‘Welcome to GB News’.
The 24-hour information channel plans to battle the BBC and Sky News by focusing on audiences that have grow to be disillusioned with traditional broadcasters’ coverage.
The channel, backed by the American broadcaster Discovery, has hired a raft of seasoned journalists, together with veteran ITV information anchor Alastair Stewart and former BBC Information presenter Simon McCoy.
In new days it has been ramping up the publicity around its forthcoming launch, with social media films of its new London-based studios in Paddington.
