Pakistani Court Overturns Murder Conviction in Killing of Wall Street Journal Reporter Daniel Pearl

A Pakistani court overturned the eighteen-yr-previous murder conviction of a British countrywide for killing Wall Road Journal reporter Daniel Pearl and lessened his dying sentence to seven yrs for kidnapping.

Mr. Pearl was murdered in the southern city of Karachi in January 2002 though working on a story about spiritual extremists in Pakistan in the aftermath of the Sept. eleven, 2001, attacks.
